Explore the case studies focusing on education and technology that built their VR hubs with Hyperfair.
Expocrecer is a VR Hub dedicated to creating innovative experiences. One of the many initiatives they organized focused on Colombian Universities, giving students a unique opportunity to find the perfect institution to shape their future and allowing university staff to get to know their prospective students.
Psychology students from Penn State’s World Campus, the university’s online degree program, used Hyperfair’s platform in a very creative and innovative way for a truly unique project. The PSU World Campus chapter of Psi Chi created a VR Hub where every student owned a virtual booth to present their research poster. Students created their own 3D booth layout and they personalized it with images, videos, content and their research poster. Interacting with the visitors as avatars, they could explain their research in more detail, answer questions and interact as they would at a physical event.
For the first time professionals of the Corrections community will be meeting in Virtual Reality thanks to Virtual Corrections Expo. This VR Hub gathers professionals working in all areas of the industry and brought attention to the many applications Virtual Reality will have for inmates. VR could not only aid with rehabilitation, education and work experience, but it could also help make visitation and contact with family and friends easier, reducing stress and isolation.
